Want to know how much your property could sell for?
A free appraisal from Ray White Levin gives you a realistic price range based on recent sales near you. It is a useful first step, whether you are ready to sell or still weighing up your next move.
We look at the property itself, its location and condition, relevant recent sales and the homes buyers can currently compare it with. Tell us about improvements, maintenance and any features or issues that may not be obvious at a first visit. Ask which comparable sales support the estimate and how your home differs.
An advertised asking price tells you what a seller is seeking; an achieved sale price records what a buyer actually paid. Recent sales of genuinely comparable properties are more useful than treating every nearby asking price as equivalent evidence.
A market appraisal is an agent’s estimate of a likely selling range. A council rating value is prepared for rating purposes at a particular valuation date and may not reflect today’s market or your home’s current condition. A registered valuation is a separate professional service that a lender or another adviser may require. Ask which type of assessment you need; none guarantees a future sale price.
Bring your preferred timing, questions about selling and details of changes to the property. If you have title, council or consent information, make it available for discussion. You do not need to complete an expensive renovation before finding out which preparation is likely to be worthwhile.
Ask about commission, GST, marketing and other costs before agreeing to a campaign. Have the proposed agency agreement and its terms explained, and seek independent legal advice before signing. Our selling guide sets out the wider journey, and recent sales show our current property activity.
Before you list, read what sellers must tell buyers so nothing surprises you later.
